Description

Obsidian is a stone that is a very dark glossy black.  Obsidian occurs when lava is rapidly cooled and is also known as Volcanic Glass.   Since Obsidian is a naturally occurring product,  it won’t lose its color or texture.  It will work well in all scales of model railroads. Use larger particle sizes as an accent boulder in a doll house or farm landscape, or as an obstacle in a war game.  Use smaller particle sizes for a black sand beach,  or roadway.  Furthermore, use any particle size for railcar loads, in mines or quarries, or as an accent boulder in the landscape.   That makes it a natural addition to any miniature model.  Obsidian comes in a variety of grain (particle) sizes to meet any miniature modelers scale.  Finally, for more information or ideas, please visit our
